Do you support 911/ e911?

We use e911 (Enhanced 911) and are 100% compliant with FCC and CRTC and cover 100% of USA/Canada.

Is there a volume commitment?

No. There's no volume commitment and you can spend your credits at the pace you want. Your balance never expires.

Do you have DIDs?

At the moment, we have DID numbers available for USA in 49 states and 4 provinces of Canada. We also have USA toll free numbers. We have international DIDs available in 30 countries.

Can I check call details online?

Yes, you can access your Call Details report online. It is updated every 60 seconds.

Can I port my existing number from another provider to VoIPsvc.net?

VoIPsvc.net does offer LNP (local number portability) service, and your number may be available for porting. Please contact us to find out whether your current number is portable to VoIPsvc.net network.

Do you offer Conference calls?

VoIPsvc.net does not offer Conference calls as a feature; however, if your device is capable of establishing a conference call, then you will have no issues running a conference using VoIPsvc.net.

Does VoIPsvc.net provide a Hardware device to use the service?

VoIPsvc.net does not provide any kind of hardware device, software or system to use the service. The service is a BYOD (bring your own device). You should be able to get one from any Communications specialized store, and all SIP-compatible devices are supported. (Almost all VoIP devices support SIP protocol).

Can I use my existing device with VoIPsvc.net?

Basically, any device or system which supports SIP or IAX2 protocol will work with VoIPsvc.net system. If you bring your device (ATA, IP phone) from a previous provider, make sure its not locked and you are able to make changes to its configuration. Please contact us for further details; however, we can not help you regarding how to unlock a device from other provider (for legal resons).

Does VoIPcvs.net encrypt the communication?

The SIP communication is secure although not encrypted. However, the passwords are MD5 hashed and are not transmitted without encryption when establishing the call.

What is my Main Account SIP password?

The main account SIP password by default is the same as your user interface password. To change this password please contact us.
