Porting a Number
Porting a number is the process of transfer a number from one provider to another. If you are a VoIPsvc.net customer and have an existing number with a different provider you can optionally bring it (port it in) to VoIPsvc.net network. Toll free numbers, local USA/Canada and even International numbers can be ported to VoIPsvcNet.
VoIPsvc.net handles LNP (Local Number Portability) process and will notify customers by email about the changes in porting status, such as the request for porting to the carrier, the receival of porting date (known as FOC), the porting completion, etc.
Portable numbers
Currently, we can port numbers to our network from the following countries:

- United Kingdom ($30 USD/number)
- United States ($25 USD/number)
Important: Numbers from these countries can be ported to our network if they belong to a city where we offer DID numbers. Please contact us to find out whether your current number is portable to VoIPsvcNet network. The process can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks.
